I keep a card file of inspirational quotes. Many of my favorites are from
Peter London's book, No More Secondhand Art
For example, when I'm making art that's sliding inelegantly into the "cute" realm, I find comfort and inspiration in this art-related quote from that book, "Meaning, not beauty, is what we are after."
